Services for Beverly Jo Matthews, 68, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Richard Bailey will officiate. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery near Francis.

Mrs. Matthews passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017 at a local hospital.

She was born August 10, 1948 in Ada to Ray and Wenona Alletag White. She lived in this area all her life and graduated from Ada High School in 1966. She attended cosmetology school in 1967.

She married Don Wayne Matthews August 26, 1966 in Ada. Mrs. Matthews owned and operated Glady’s Beauty Salon and she was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband, Don, of the home; daughter, JoDon Truelove and husband Reggie; brother, Barry White and wife Mary; her grandchildren, Cherokee Truelove, Raven Truelove and Dakota Truelove; two brothers-in-law, Charles Matthews and Jim Matthews and wife Jennie; a sister-in-law, Mary McGill and husband Jimmy; her nieces, Carrie Williams, Stacy Sexton, Shannan Cooper and Melinda Matthews; her nephews, Charles Matthews, Raymond Woods, Mike Woods, Terry Matthews, Tony Matthews, Mike Matthews, Mickey White, Keith Schoonover, Kevin Schoonover, Tanner McGill and Jimmy Jo McGill.

Bearers will be Raymond Woods, Mike Woods, Tanner McGill, Charles Matthews, Koby Williams and John Fisher. Honorary bearers will be Jacob Fisher.
