Services for Darron Jay Henderson, 40, of Francis, Oklahoma, are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Jamie Perry will officiate. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove cemetery in Francis, Oklahoma. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mr. Henderson died Friday, November 29, 2013 at a local hospital. He was born October 11, 1973 in Orange, California to Lyle J. and Alice Irene Diamond Henderson. He came to the Ada area as a child, and graduated from the Byng school system.
He was an electrician at Holcim Cement Company, and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers D114. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Survivors include one son, Dylan Wade Henderson of Ada, one daughter, Mary Katherine "Katie" Bennett of Princeton, NC, his parents, Lyle and Alice Henderson of Francis, two brothers, Lyle David Henderson and wife Amy of Waverly, Ohio, and Justin Wade Henderson and wife Jade of Ada, and a niece, Reagan Henderson.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Myrtle Irene (Memaw) Diamond and W.S. (Bill) Diamond, and is paternal grandfather Lyde J. Henderson.
Bearers will be Robbie Black, Todd Fugate, Eric Martin, Evan Martin, Wesley Harrod, and Bobby Martin.
