Services for Rita Gwen Harris, 66, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Jamie Perry will officiate. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home.

She died Saturday, August 22, 2015 at her home. She was born on June 8, 1949 in Ada to Loyd “Babe” and Lorene Canfield Harris. She was a lifetime resident of the Ada area. She attended Francis and Byng Schools.

Ms. Harris retired from Pre-Paid Legal Service in 2013, as a Membership Administration Advisor, after 35 years of service. She was a Baptist.

Survivors include her mother, Lorene Harris, Francis; one son, Cody Harris, Francis; grandson, Auston Claborn, Ada; great-grandson, Easton Claborn, Ada; one sister, Susan Scroggins and husband Robert, Francis; two brothers, Tim Harris and wife Trisha, Francis and Jerald Harris and wife Tricia, Spencer, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd “Babe” Harris and brother Loyd “Dennis” Harris.

Bearers will be nephews, Dennis Harris, Kerry Peters, Casey Peters, Eric Harris, Glenn Mitchell and David Attebery and Garrett Raney.

The family says those who wish may make memorials to PAWS, 1200 Sandy Creek Drive, Ada, Oklahoma, 74820.
