Services for Dale Aaron Walker, 60, of Ada will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the St. James Church of God in Christ. Rev. Clive Cochran will officiate, and burial will follow at Athens Cemetery.

Mr. Walker passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017, at an Ada nursing home. He was born December 23, 1956, in Fullerton, CA to Zembra and Mildred Allen Walker. Dale graduated from Santa Ana Valley High School in California and then later joined the Job Corps. On April 9, 1980, he married Juanita Walker of Ada.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita, of the home; his children, David Blue and wife Missy, Christopher Blue, Sherra Blue and Emenike Whitfield; his mother, Mildred Walker of California; his siblings, Floyd Walker and wife Jean, Sandra Walker Buckner, Clifford Walker and wife Brenda, William Charles “Boo” Walker, Ronald Walker, Phillip Walker and wife June, Phyllis Harris, Robyn Walker, Janice Parks and husband Chris; his grandchildren, Kiana Ingram, Kiera Blue, Christian Whitfield, Jordan Blue, and Kira Blue; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his twin, Gale Walker; siblings, Herbert Joe McWright, Shirley McWright, Rita Champion, James “Jimmy” Walker and father, Zembra Walker.

Bearers are A. L. McDowell, James Dean Brown, Shawn Wills, Leon Alfred, Jr., William Franklin, Jr. and Duane Colbert. Flower bearers are Kendra Harrison, Shirley McKinney, and Vernita McDowell.
