Services for Barbara Jean Lester, 64, of Pauls Valley are 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 3rd at the Hammond Heights Church of Christ in Ada, Richard A. Martin will officiate. Burial will follow at Athens Cemetery, west of Ada.

Mrs. Lester passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Edmond. She was born October 2, 1953 at Ada to Paul Allen and Wilma Jean Brown Black.

She married Deannie Kuren Lester. Mrs. Lester was a Dietician at the Pauls Valley Care Center until her retirement. She was affiliated with the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Deannie Lester, of the home; four daughters, Shalonda Garcia and husband Larry of Lubbock, TX, Carmella Coburn and husband Dante of Bethany, Dana Lester and Janise “Mimi” Lester, both of Ada; her grandchildren, Ky Lester, Kree Lester, Gabrielle Garcia, Kayton Lester, Tralor Lester, Eljah Lester, Emira Warrior Air-eauna Warrior, Isabella Miller and Koreyion Coburn; three great-grandchildren, McKinna Reno, Né Taya Grant and Triton Lester; a brother, Dwight Black and wife Vala of Ada; three sisters, Sherry Black and Bessie Osborne both of Ada, and Ann Black of Suitland, MD; and other loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Warren Black; and two sisters, Lillie Heath and Jewel Black.

Bearers will be Charles Heath, Sr., Charles Heath, Eric Black, Jonathan Black, Jahred Lester, and Ky Lester. Flower bearers will be Delana Cochran Yousuf, Mirache Black, Larrah Black, and Tomaro Heath.
