Services for R.L. Harper, Jr., 71, of Ada are 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel; Rev. Ricky McGee will officiate. Burial will follow at Athens Cemetery.

Mr. Harper passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at his home. He was born May 12, 1953, in Ada to R.L. and Cleo Seals Harper, Sr. He was a Janitorial Maintenance Supervisor for Flex-N-Gate.

He is survived by his four sons, Mike Beam of Sulphur, Aaron Harper of Ada, Cam Lunsford of Sulphur, and Robert Black of Ada; daughter, Judith McDonald of Davis; brother, Leroy Miller of Ada; sister, Judy Brown of Ada; nine grandchildren; and other loving relatives and friends.

Mr. Harper was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dovie Harper; two brothers, Isreal Harper and Elga Harper; and grandson, Rally Beam.

Bearers are Jacqus Brown, Terry Brown, Thomas McDonald, David Powell, Lee “Scoop” Anderson, and Kirk Clark.
