Services for Paul Duane Rowe, 58, of Oklahoma City, formerly of the Lula area, are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Baptist Church, Revs. Harold Ware and Rev. Rick Rowe will officiate. Burial will follow at the Lula Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Rowe passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born June 1, 1958 in Gardena, CA to Charles Henry Rowe, Jr. and Irene Holt Rowe. He graduated from Corona High School in Corona, CA and received bachelor’s degree from Master’s College in Valencia, CA.

Mr. Rowe taught school in California for 10 years and then moved to Ada and taught at East Central University in Ada for 17 years. He taught piano, organ and music appreciation. Paul was a member of Lovelady Baptist Church and had served as the pianist there for 10 years. He had also toured with a Baptist Quartet Group as an accompanist, and “Enabled” Youth Choir and Orchestra.

Survivors include his mother, Irene Rowe of Oklahoma City; a sister, Gloria Byerly of Oklahoma City; three brothers, Rick Rowe of Campo, CA, Mike Rowe of Mustang, OK and Charles Rowe of Florence, CO; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Bearers will be Rick Rowe, Mike Rowe, Charles Rowe, Aaron Byerly, Dustin Watterson and Cheyney Harp.
