Services for Ron Milner, 83, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Randall Christy will officiate. Burial will follow at the Allen Cemetery.
Mr. Milner passed away Monday, July 1, 2019 at an Oklahoma City hospice house. He was born June 4, 1936 at Atwood to William Joel and Essie Pearl DeShields Milner. He graduated from Allen High School in 1954.
He married Alberta Ann Phillips June 25, 1956. Mr. Milner owned an independent fuel transport trucking company and later was a currier for Vision Bank. He attended Union Valley Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Alberta, of the home; two daughters, Penny Turner and husband Steve and Sherri Pettigrew and husband Jeff; a brother, Bill Milner and wife Jean; sister-in-law, Fran Milner; brother, Kenneth Milner and wife Fleta; sister, Linda Willoughby and husband Tom; his grandchildren, Matt Turner and wife Kelley, Tim Turner, Preston Pettigrew, Peyton Swearingin and husband Denver, Paige Pettigrew and Price Pettigrew; and his great-grandchildren, Everley and Baylor Greenway, Connor Turner and Sutton Swearingin.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Carroll Milner.
Bearers will be his sons-in-law, Steve Turner and Jeff Pettigrew; and his grandsons, Matt Turner, Tim Turner, Preston Pettigrew and Price Pettigrew. Honorary bearers will be Robert Tollison, Willie Dansby, Dean Brown, Gary Haggard and Joe Murray.
The family says those who wish may make memorials to the: Integris Hospice House, 13920 Quailbrook Drive, Oklahoma City, OK 73034.
