Services for Anna Lee McKenzie, 88, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Richmond Avenue Free Will Baptist Church in Allen, Rev. Buddy Drake will officiate. Burial will follow at the Allen Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Allen Chapel from 4:00 p.m. Thursday until service time.
Mrs. McKenzie died Monday, December 8, 2014 at a local nursing home. She was born May 23, 1926 in Allen, Oklahoma to Reuben Edmond and Katie Lee Moore Huffstutlar. She graduated from Allen High School.
She married James Bentley McKenzie on November 2, 1946. He preceded her in death on May 28, 1999. Mrs. McKenzie was a homemaker and attended Trinity Baptist Church and the First Baptist Church in Ada. She was a hospital volunteer at Valley View Regional Hospital.
Survivors include three brothers, Donald Ray Huffstutlar and wife Colena of Atwood, Reuben Edward Huffstutlar and wife Carolyn of Allen and Frank Huffstutlar and wife Judy of Allen; three sisters, Francile Treat and husband Buford of Enid, Josephine Powell and Geneva Battershell, both of Gerty; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Fred Huffstutlar and Leon Huffstutlar; and two sisters, Altha Huffstutlar and Marie Reim.
Bearers will be Rick Huffstutlar, Bruce Huffstutlar, Keith Huffstutlar, Chris Huffstutlar, Jerry Huffstutlar, Gary Huffstutlar, Eddie Battershell and Skip Powell.
