Graveside services for Jannette Carrolyn Jacobs, 66, of Allen are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Allen Cemetery. Rev. Keith Stevens will officiate.

Mrs. Jacobs died Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at a Wynnewood nursing home. She was born July 20, 1946 in Bakersfield, California to Curtis Allen and Lucile Kirby Harrison. She graduated from Tupelo High School in 1964 and received a Bachelor’s degree from East Central University in Ada.

She married Gary Lynn Jacobs on February 18, 1964. He preceded her in death on August 3, 2012. Mrs. Jacobs taught Special Education at Holdenville schools, retiring in 2004. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Allen.

Survivors include two sons, Brian Jacobs and his wife Debra of Stratford, and Phillip Jacobs of Houston, TX; a sister, Robbie Smith and her husband Randy of Atoka; and three grandchildren, Rachel Jacobs, Kurtis Jacobs and Evan Jacobs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother, Joe Harrison.
