Graveside services for Gracie Jean Carpenter Holt, 76, of Allen are 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 27, 2021 at the Allen Cemetery, Bro. Gary Lewis, Sr. will officiate. Family and friends may gather at the Allen Chapel from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2021.

Ms. Holt passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021 at an Ada nursing home. She was born December 21, 1944 at Dallas, TX to Aubrey Benjamin and Opal Jewell Adams Carpenter. She attended grade school in Rose Hill, TX and high school in Denton, TX.

Ms. Holt was a homemaker.

Survivors include her son, Buddy Wayne Holt and wife Reneé of Anna, TX; three daughters, Kathy Lewis, Allen, Shannon McGuire, Vernon, TX and Debra Moore and husband Tyler, Allen; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and multiple nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Zelar Mae and Eva “Tootie”; and two brothers, Bennie and Timmie.

Bearers are Gary Lewis, Jr., J.T. Henderson, Mason Hubanks, Buddy Holt, Jr., Tony Sandoval and Tyler Moore.
