Services for William Roy Griffin, 75, of Allen are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Allen Richmond Avenue Free Will Baptist Church, Rev. Buddy Drake will officiate. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Allen Chapel from 3:0 p.m. Friday until service time Mr. Griffin died Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at a Shawnee hospital. He was born September 9, 1939 at Calvin to Willie Ollie and Winnie Jannell Tipton Griffin. He attended grade school in Coalgate and graduated from high school in New Mexico.

He married Magdline Joyner April 8, 1976. Mr. Griffin was an independent truck driver and he had served in the U. S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Magdline, of the home; two daugahters, Marizonia Marie of Texas and Leonda Roylean Docktor of Purcell; a son, William Roy Griffin, Jr.; two step-daughters, Mary Johnson and Cathy Huitt, both of Allen; six grandchildren, Jamie Cathleen Manuel and husband David, Randle Morrison, Scottie Morrison, David Morrison, Mark Huitt, Jr., and Jonathan Huitt; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Charlene Sutterfield, Stuart; and a brother, Floyd Griffin, Hugo.

He was preceded in death by two sisters; and a brother, Billy Gene Griffin.

Bearers will be his grandsons.
