Services for Edwin Kenneth Clark, Jr., 84, of Allen are at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel in Ada. Mr. Mark Legg will officiate. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery. Family and friends may call 4 p.m. today at the Allen Chapel.

Mr. Clark passed away Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015, at an Ada hospital. He was born May 27, 1931, in Hobbs, New Mexico, to Edwin K. and Lauren Johnson Clark. He attended Ada Grade School and graduated from Ada High School. He also graduated from East Central University.

He married Charlotte Rowsey Tate on July 7, 2007. Mr. Clark had worked for Haliburton Co. and later retired from the U. S. Naval Ammunition Depot in McAlester. He was a longtime active member of the Allen Church of Christ and a member of the Masonic Lodge #81. Mr. Clark was active in Allen city government. He was an avid sports fan, and he had served in the U. S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte, of the home ; his children, Kenny Clark, Allen, Rebecca Butler, Corvallis, Oregon, Kevin Tate and wife Tama, Texas, Kim Jones and husband Alan, Rush Springs, and Kristi Cook and husband James, Stillwater; stepchildren, Kerry Caldwell, Jay Caldwell and Sherry Plunk and their families; one sister, Phyllis Gault, Houston, Texas; two grandchildren, Kandi Brandreth and Jeffery Butler; three great-grandchildren; a close friend, Stanley Walker; and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lucille Alexander Clark.

Bearers will be James Cook, Alan Jones, Cameron Tate and Kevin Tate.
