Services for Geneva Mae (Davis) Bray, 97, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Kendell Martin and Darrell Phillips will officiate. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home, Ada.
Mrs. Bray passed away Sunday, February 2, 2020 at an Ada hospital. She was born November 21, 1922 at Steedman, OK to John and Nettie Reece Davis. She attended from Allen High School and lived in this area all her life.
She married James L. Bray October 28, 1944 at Ada. He preceded her in death May 3, 2015 in Ada. Mrs. Bray was a seamstress for Blue Bell Mfg. Company until her retirement. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. Mrs. Bray loved her flower beds and doing yardwork.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Karen Bray, Ada; two great-grandsons, Brandon and Tyler Stith, both of Ada; a niece, Barbara Jarrett and husband Louis, Allen; a nephew, John Davis and wife Leda, Ada; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Mitch Jarrett, Ada, Chris Jarrett, Edmond, and Tammy Kubier and husband Doug, Newcastle; her great-great nephews, Logan Jarrett, Heavner and Carter Kubier, Newcastle and Kaitlyn Laxton, Newcastle; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Jimmy Bray and Johnny Bray; a daughter-in-law, Marie Bray; two granddaughters, Michelle Stith and Sheila Bray; and her siblings, Billy Davis, Herbert Davis, Ernest Davis, C. B. Davis and Ruth Davis.
