Services for Pauline Alexander, 82, of Ada were 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Gene Williams and Osborne Roberts officiated. Burial followed at Allen Cemetery. A Wake service was held 6:30 p.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Alexander passed away Friday, August 12, 2016 at a local hospital. She was born October 15, 1933 in the Corine Community, Pushmataha County, Oklahoma to Houston Lee and Ennie Hobson Fobb. She graduated from Sequoyah High School near Tahlequah and also graduated from cosmetology school.

She married Cody Alexander March 1, 1954 in Oklahoma City. He preceded her in death March 2, 1986 in Ada. Mrs. Alexander was a beautician and retired from Western Electric in Oklahoma City after several years. She later worked in housekeeping at Valley View Regional Hospital in Ada until retiring. Mrs. Alexander attended Mitchell Memorial United Methodist Church in Ada.

Survivors include three sons, Haskell Alexander and his wife Susan of Ada, Jeff Alexander of Dallas, TX and Cody Alexander of Ada; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother, Houston Lee Fobb.

Bearers were her grandsons, Brian Alexander, Jordan Alexander, Warren Alexander, Jared Alexander, Michael Alexander and a relative, James Crossley.
