Steven Lee White, 28, of McAlester, died Monday, December 1, 2014 at his home.The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 4 at Bishop Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 5 at Bishop Chapel of Memories with Mike Ross officiating. Interment will be at Ulan Cemetery. Service arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service. Steven was born August 7, 1986 in McAlester to Steven Edward White and Judy Gail (Sennett) White. He grew up and received his education in McAlester, graduating from McAlester High School. He furthered his education by attending Kiamichi Tech in McAlester where he received training as a machinist. Steven was employed by Spirit Aerosystems in McAlester where he worked as a machinist and painter. He loved music and enjoyed playing guitar. He also enjoyed going to the gun range, camping with his family, and watching movies. Steven is survived by his father: Steven Edward White of McAlester; his mother: Gail (Sennett) White of McAlester; brother: Brandon White of McAlester; sister: Amanda Gonzalez and her husband, Alex of McAlester; grandparents: Leroy Sennett of Tannehill, Ralph Cox of Indianola; and nieces and nephews: Teresa Nester, Karlee Gonzalez, and Orion Gonzalez. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother: Darlene Sennett and his paternal grandmother: Donna Cox. Pallbearers will be Frank Cox, Jerry Cox, Benny Williams, Doy Sennett, Preston Sennett, and Alex Gonzalez. Honorary pallbearers will be family and friends of Masonic Lodge #22 and Spirit Aerosystems.
