Ruby Jean (Pierce) Kelley, 73 of Kiowa died Friday, December 10, 2021 at her residence. The family will greet friends and relatives 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory. A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Ulan Cemetery Pavilion officiated by Rev. Mimi Kelley. Burial will follow at Ulan Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Caleb Pierce, Brandon "Biggie" Hatton, Tanner Scott, Jeremy Pierce, Joseph Kelley and Jack Middleton. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Pierce, Ronnie Pierce and Roy Lee Lambert. Ruby Jean was born on September 22, 1948 to Homer Zebbit and Geneva Frankie (Brown) Pierce in Ulan. She attended Ulan school through the 8th grade. Ruby married Dannie Othol Kelley on June 3, 1968 in McAlester. She was a homemaker. Ruby enjoyed flower gardening, collecting knickknacks and caring for her beloved dog "Little Bit". She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Geneva Pierce; husband, Dannie Kelley, I; son, Steven Dale Kelley; brothers, James Pierce, Cyal Pierce, Homer "Junior" Pierce; sisters, Clara Mae Middleton and Rebecca A. Ketcherside. Ruby is survived by sons, Johnjoe Kelley and wife, Kristi of Kiowa, Dannie Kelley, II of Kiowa; daughter, Rovillia Eckert of Ada; daughter-in-law, Mimi Kelley of McAlester; grandchildren, Rubie Hatton and Biggie, Shaina Eckert, Bailey Eckert, Britton Kelley, Amanda Kelley, Melissa Kelley, Kassandra Scott and husband, Tanner, Joseph Kelley, Brooke Kelley, Dannie Kelley, III, Kayden Kelley, Matthew Kelley, Summer Shannon; numerous great grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth Pierce, Ronnie Pierce; sisters, Betty Roberts and husband, Dan, Bertha Lambert and husband, Lee; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
