Faye Dean (Patton) Sweetin, 85, of Blanco, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023 at her home. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at the Chaney Harkins Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2023 at the Pittsburg Baptist Church with Glen Enloe officiating. The burial will follow at Ti Valley Cemetery, Ti Valley Community, Oklahoma.Pallbearers will be Tyler McCoy, Cameron McCoy, Jared Sweetin, Luke McCoy, Ronald Lewis, and Curtis Church.Honorary pallbearers will be Stormy Cole, and James Sweetin. Faye was born on October 29, 1937 in Harpers Valley, Oklahoma, the only child of Huel Patton and Gladys (Jordan) Patton Hammer. Faye married Samuel Duerd Sweetin on October 3, 1951 in Coalgate, Oklahoma. They raised their children in Ti Valley and later made Blanco their home. She was a member of the Pittsburg Baptist Church. She is survived by her children: Sonia McCants and husband, Bob of Belton, Texas, Dirk Sweetin and wife, Christina of Blanco, and Samuel D. Sweetin and wife, Sue of Ti Valley; her grandchildren: Hillary Lewis and husband Ronald, Lyndi Church and husband Curtis, Jared Sweetin and wife Holly, James Sweetin, Stormy Cole, Wacey Nowlin, Wendy Singleton, Debralee Blanco, Leah Blanco, and Austin Eberle; her great grandchildren: Finley Church, Sadie Sweetin, Josie Sweetin, Roman Lewis, Reyden Sweetin, Caso Church, Tyler McCoy and wife Hannah, Luke McCoy and wife Allyah, Cameron McCoy, Kennedy Sweetin, Emmry Cole, Lincoln Cole, and Maverick Cole; her great great grandchildren: William McCoy, Lincoln McCoy, Noah McCoy, Kennedy McCoy, Laice McCoy, and Emberlin McCoy;her sister-in-law: Fern Downey of Perkins; and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband: Samuel Duerd Sweetin; her father: Huel Patton and, her mother: Gladys (Jordan) Patton Hammer.
