Lawrence Edward "Eddie" Snow, Jr., 59, of McAlester, passed away Tuesday, October 12th, near McAlester. Funeral services will be Monday, October 18th, at 2:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel, with Keith Kinnamon officiating. Burial will follow at Tannehill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Rick Hill, Jordy Woolsey, Johnny Snow, Trai Hobbs, J. W. Hammonds, Wade Tripp, Junior Collins, and Johnny Bess. Honorary pallbearers are Lane Snow, Sam Snow, Jaistyn Leak, Aubrey Snow, Urijah Corum, Wade Snow, Oakleigh Peters, Dawson Peters, and Ronin Corum. Eddie Snow, Jr. was born on October 5, 1962 in McAlester. He grew up here and attended school and graduated from Indianola High School. He worked in several capacities in the oil and gas fields, most recently working as a pump operator and supervisor. Eddie loved to work on cars and hang out with his friends and family, and especially enjoyed spoiling his grandkids. Eddie is survived by his children, Jeremy Edward Snow and wife Meredith of McAlester, Dillon Keith Snow of McAlester, Destiny Dawn Snow of McAlester, and Dustin O'Dale Corum and wife Mercedes of Sapulpa; grandchildren, Lane Snow, Sam Snow, Jaistyn Leak, Aubrey Snow, Urijah Corum, Oakleigh Peters, Wade Snow, Dawson Peters, and Ronin Corum; a brother, Johnny D. Snow of McAlester; and sisters, Retha Gail (Snow) Whitlock of McAlester and Dina Pearce and husband David of Eufaula. He was preceded in death by his parents, mother, Marcella Coxsey; his father, Ed Snow, Sr., paternal grandparents, Henry and Maudie Snow; maternal grandparents, Roy Coxsey and Peggy and Bill VanHooser; a nephew, Garrett Bess; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
