John "Hanse" William Woolsey was born January 11, 1963 at DeSoto, TX and died March 26, 2009 at McAlester, OK. Funeral service is at 2:00 p.m. Monday March 30, 2009 at Chaney's Memorial Chapel McAlester, OK. Officiating is Rev. Chuck Campbell. Pallbearers are Johnny Ray Johnson, "Big John" Johnson, Ron "Wolf" Stidam, Denison Cable, Jim Depue and Jim Christman. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Whorton, Ryan Woolsey, George Labor, Tony Runyon, Brent McFarland, Jack Moore and Becky McMath. Interment is at Bache-Red Oak Cemetery at Bache, OK Hanse was born January 11, 1963 in DeSoto, TX. He was raised in Kiowa by his step father and mother, Leon and Shirley (Weisenburger) Labor where he remained. His pastime and his greatest joy in life was his son, Hunter. They so much enjoyed hunting and just being together. Hanse is survived by his son, Hunter Woolsey of the home; step-dad, Leon Labor of the home; step-dad "Pops" Gary Zachary of Alderson, OK; brothers, Jerry Wayne Woolsey of Alderson, OK, Gary "Duke" Zachary and wife Jonna of Kiowa, OK and Wade Labor and wife Tammy of Pittsburg, OK; aunts and uncles, Jo and Bobby Tucker of McAlester, OK, Ruth Weisenburger of McAlester, Linda and Johnny Labor of Kiowa, Nancy and Roy Labor of Pittsburg, Kim and George Labor of Pittsburg and Joetta Labor of Pittsburg; nephews: Ryan Woolsey, Jordy Woolsey, Zane Zachary, Jonathan Rudrow, Hayden Labor, Russell Labor, B.J. Labor, Justin Labor and Garrett Rowland; nieces: jennifer Eastteam, Lindsey Robertson, Heather Whitmore, Madison Labor, Robin Labor, Susan Labor, Sherry Labor, Wendy Labor, Becky Labor and Keitha Labor; cousins, Doris Whorton, Tracey Stewart, Angie Ratliff, Clint Cacy, Gene Clay and Larry Don Shelton and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Ann Labor; brothers, Christopher Zachary and Kenneth Labor; grandparents, J.W. and Francille Weisenburger.
