Willa "Bea" Williams, 81, of Hartshorne, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021 at Belfair of McAlester. Family will receive family and friends on Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in Hartshorne. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Edgewood United Methodist Church in Hartshorne with Pastor Leon Mace officiating. Flowers may be sent to Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in Hartshorne or donations may be made to the Bache-Red Oak Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 1332, Krebs, OK 74554. Bea was born on July 25, 1939 in Hartshorne, Oklahoma to Fred and Lila (Capers) Templeton. She married Johnny H. Williams on August 25, 1963 in Hartshorne and they were married for 50 years. She lived the majority of her life in and around the Hartshorne/Haileyville area. She worked as a chief telephone operator at the Naval Ammunition Depot for many years. Later, she worked at the Pittsburg County Courthouse as a clerk and as a judge's secretary. She retired in 2004. She has lived the past two years at Belfair of McAlester. Survivors include four children and spouses, Buddy and Melinda Sandefur of Hartshorne, Lorri and Rob Roettgers of Houston, TX, John Williams of Port St. Lucie, FL, Tom and Cindy Williams of Llano, TX; four sisters and spouses, Mary and Elmo Collins of Calvin, OK, Martha Williams of Hartshorne, OK, Johnny Ruth Wilson of Wilburton, OK, Sandra and Larry Johnson of Anchorage, AK; Nancy and Calvin Mattingley of Richmond Hills, GA; one brother, Darrell and Belva Templeton of Oklahoma City, OK; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Williams; daughter, Karen Smith; her mother, Lila Templeton; father, Fred Templeton; brother, Robert Templeton; sisters, Sarah Royal and Janet Albright. Active pallbearers will be Steve Raley, Daniel Sandefur, Laramie Nichols, Phillip Rich, Donnie Scott and Dale Scott. Honorary pallbearers are Darrell Templeton, Rob Roettgers, Elmo Collins, Sr., Larry Johnson and Calvin Mattingley.
