Jack Dwight Stamper, 83 of Bache died Friday, February 28, 2025, in Oklahoma City. Viewing will be 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2025, at Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Bache-Red Oak Cemetery Pavilion officiated by Rev. Jody Domingue with burial to follow. The pallbearers will be Wendell Frederick, Steven Nichols, Randy Hugle, Ricky Crenshaw and Krista Stuart. Jack was born to William E. and Lillie Mae (Locke) Stamper on October 31, 1941, in Sardis, Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Army for 2 years during the Korean War Era. Jack worked in Southern California as an Iron Worker. He married Angie Turner. Jack enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and deer hunting. He enjoyed being a farmer and loved to work with animals, especially cattle and horses. Jack was a man of faith and had been an avid bible reader. He was preceded in death by his parents, William E. and Lillie Stamper, and a brother, Steve E. Stamper. Jack is survived by his wife, Angie Stamper of the home; stepson, Bryan McGlothin of Washington State; step grandson, Sebastian McGlothin; nieces, Star Stamper, Stephanie Stamper, Milisza Bloxham, Amber Stamper; several great nieces and nephews; special friends and caregivers, Wendell Ted Frederick and wife, Cindi of Bache; numerous other friends and family members.
