Ida Marie Spindle, 65, of Bache, Oklahoma passed away on October 20, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ida was born on July 20, 1959 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Woodrow W. Brown and Edna Marie (Grist) Brown. Ida enjoyed arts and crafts, gospel singing, and her fur babies: Tiny and Bigs. One of the biggest joys in Ida's life were her beloved grandchildren. She is survived by her sons: Mikka Spindle and wife, Mina, and Brandon Wheaton; grandchildren: Ashley Wheaton, Adrianna Wheaton, Victoria Spindle, and Pheebe Borboa; brothers and sister: Sam Brown, Edna Nobles, and Jack Brown and wife, Teresa; special nieces: Christina Couch and husband, Wayne, and Kim Stanford and husband, James and several other nieces and nephews; and personal care-giver, Valerie Willis. Ida is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Lee Spindle; parents: Woodrow W. Brown and Edna Marie (Grist) Brown; sister, Velma June Brown, and Barbara Sue Danel and brother, Woodrow Brown, Jr. Ida's cremains will be laid to rest at the Bache Red Oak Cemetery next to her beloved husband, Michael.
