Sandra "Sandee" Lu (Fruin) Bloxham, 73, of Talihina, passed away Sunday, May 12, in Talihina. The family will welcome friends for visitation at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester on Tuesday, May 14, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 15, at 2:30 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester, with Pastor Danny Harris officiating. Burial will follow at the Bache-Red Oak Cemetery in Bache. Pallbearers are Braden Smith, Cole Smith, Brock Ardese, Tyler Ardese, Bryce Davidson, Ethan Ardese, Gaucho Herandy, Wade Nave and Steven Stapp. Sandra Bloxham was born on Feb. 17, 1951 in McAlester to Ray Fruin and Lu Ella (Friend) Fruin. She grew up here and graduated from McAlester High School. She then attended and graduated from Professional Beauty School, and began her 20-plus year career as a beautician here in McAlester. Sandra was an avid reader, and as a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Talihina, she loved the Ladies Bible Study and Book Club, where she could get all the reading material she desired. She also loved to travel and had visited a lot of places across the country. Some of her favorite times, though, were simply spending time with friends and family. She loved Jesus and loved people. She faced death with confidence in her Savior and the assurance of her personal victory over the grave through Jesus; John 14:6 Sandra/Sandee is survived by her grandchildren, Breanna Upchurch, Gaucho Herandy, Damian Bloxham, Steven Stapp, and Heavenly Bloxham. Her great grandchildren include Daecyn Herandy, Carter Herandy, Blaine Herandy, Trevor Herandy, Jacova’lu Herandy, Miah Stapp, Trystanne Upchurch and Reiley Upchurch; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Crystal Lu Stapp and Raina Herandy; a son, Jeremiah Bloxham; her parents; and a sister, Raylene Ardese.
