Jim H. Allen, 79 of McAlester died Thursday, March 27, 2025 in McAlester surrounded by his loving family. The family will greet friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2025 at Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Jamie Kirkpatrick. Burial will follow in Bache-Red Oak Cemetery, Bache. Pallbearers will be Johnny Allen, Marty Medley, Gerald Wilson, Chad Boatner, Trey Wilson and Logan Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Allen, Jimmy Allen, James Wilson, Ronnie Smith, Richard Frazier, Braden Allen, Bruce Villanueva and David Frazier. Jim was born to Eli and Ella Mae (Welch) Allen on February 10, 1946 in Richville. He attended school in Pryor. He resided in Ft. Smith for a few years before settling in McAlester. Jim married Eva Smith on July 14, 2012 in McAlester. Jim worked as a truck driver for Bekins Van Lines for several years. He held many jobs over the years including; hearse driver, ambulance driver, working for the City of McAlester, in the pipeline industry and working construction with Billy Jack Boatright. In his younger years Jim was a talented and impressive roller-skater and water skier. Jim had a passion for automobiles and ATV's. He enjoyed going to car shows and riding ATV's, especially with his family. He enjoyed being in the outdoors. His family and grandchildren were his pride and joy and he thoroughly enjoyed the time he was able to spend with them. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eli and Ella Mae Allen; grandson, Donnie Allen; twin brother, William "Cub" Warren Allen; brother, Billy F. Allen; sisters, Mearldean Cravins, Gearldean "Gerri" Casey. Jim is survived by wife, Eva of the home; sons, Jerry Allen and wife, Jennifer, Jimmy Allen; and wife, Katrina daughters, Sherry Boatner and husband, Chad, Christine Wilson and husband, Gerald; stepchildren, David Frazier, Richard Frazier and wife, Amanda, Ann Smith and husband, Ronnie; grandchildren, Cody Allen, Charlie Inman, Logan Wilson and wife, Brittany, James Wilson, Trey Wilson and wife, Whitney, Jaden Boatner, Richard Frazier, Jr., Isaac Frazier, Anastasia Frazier, Conner Frazier, Bruce Villanueva, Bri Villanueva, Braden Allen; great grandchildren, Annalynn Wilson, Addisynn Wilson, Lily Wilson, Lyla Wilson, Rosemary Inman, Rain Inman, C.J. Allen, Kenobi Allen; sister, Mary Lou Kincade and husband, Robert; sister-in-law, Hazel Allen; brother-in-law, Leon Smith; his beloved pet dogs, "Princess" and "Bella" numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Jim will be missed but not forgotten.
