Carmen Elaine (Petty) Miller, 68 of Stuart died Sunday, November 26, 2023 in Stuart. A funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Bishop Chapel of Memories officiated by Rev. Jody Domingue. Burial will follow in Pryor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, John Carothers, Deland Cobb, Larry Wilmot, Rodney Wilmot, Caleb Cobb and Jared Macchirella. Honorary pallbearers will be, Blake Miller, Jeremy Cantwell and Deland "Eddy" Cobb. Carmen Elaine was born to Alvin and Wynonah (Beal) Petty on August 22, 1955 in Woodland, California. She grew up and attended school in the Oklahoma City area. Carmen married Bill Dean Miller on March 8, 1972. She worked as a production line worker for several industries, before retiring. Carmen attended the Lighthouse of Prayer Church in Arpelar. Carmen was kind hearted and loved her pet dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin Petty and Wynonah Carter; her husband, Bill Dean Miller in 2018; grandson, Christian Miller; sister, Lavon White; brothers, Keith Brewington and Kenneth Brewington. Carmen is survived by her sons, Bobby Miller and wife, Mandy of Stuart; Billy Joe Miller of Shawnee; grandchildren, Blake Miller of Tulsa, Brooke Cobb and husband, Deland of Ada, Morgan Miller of Stuart; great grandson, Deland "Eddy" Cobb of Ada; sisters, Sandra Wymer, Portia Blankenship, Andrea "Suzie" Shelton, Maureen Hale; brothers, Wayne Petty, Joe Petty; numerous nieces, nephews other family members and friends.
