Roper, Dale Wimberly, Chad Lamb, Kyle Williams, Charles Ingram, and Corbyn McPhentridge Ted was born on September 28, 1969, in Ada, Oklahoma. He graduated from Latta High School in 1987 and spent his early years in Ada, where he met the love of his life, DaWanna Wimberly. The couple was united in marriage on March 8, 1992, at Friendship Nazarene Church in Stuart, Oklahoma. Together, they built a life rooted in love, settling in Stuart and making Pittsburg County their home for over 30 years. From a young age, Ted had a passion for the open road. He began driving trucks early in life and went on to build a career in logistics, working for several companies, including Triad Progressive, Basin, and others. Ted truly enjoyed life on the road, as well as attending rodeos and sharing stories-his gift for storytelling left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He also cherished his summers spent in South Texas at Harvest, creating memories that he carried with him throughout his life. Above all, Ted loved his family and friends deeply. He found his greatest joy in the time spent with them, and his presence brought warmth, laughter, and comfort to those around him. Ted is survived by his beloved wife, DaWanna Glover, of the home; his daughter, Karli Glover and Dustin Leavell of Tulsa; his son, Shylo Glover of Ada; his sister, Karla Tamez and her husband, John, of Ada; his nephews, Trace Lawson and Ty Lawson, both of Ada; his mother- and father-in-law, Durrell and Loretta Wimberly of Stuart; a special friend, Kevin Luker of Stuart; his honorary brothers, Mike Weeks and Monte Weeks of Scipio; as well as many other cherished family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ted Glover, Sr.; his grandparents, Vertie and Theo Glover; and Donna Hillman, who was like a mother to him. Ted will be remembered for his kind heart, his love of family, and the stories he shared so freely. His memory will live on in the lives of those who knew and loved him.
