David Earl Edge, 71 of McAlester died Wednseday December 6, 2023 in Tulsa. Viewing will be Saturday 8:00 a.m. to Noon on Saturday December 9, 2023. A funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 11, 2023 at Pryor Cemetery Chapel in Stuart, Oklahoma officiated by Rev. Jody Dominque. Burial will follow. David was born on November 30, 1952 in McAlester. He graduated from McAlester High School and Eastern Oklahoma State College. David served in the U.S. Army. He married Tammy Eller. David retired from USIC where he worked as a locator. He was a passionate and talented musician. David sang and played drums with various bands and other local musicians. David was preceded in death by his father, Earl Edge; mother, Mildred Veneta Pritchard; and a brother, Jim Edge. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Edge; son, Jesse Edge; daughters, Shila Pirpich, Mandy Allford and husband, Patrick; grandchildren, Kylee Edge, Karman Edge, Grayson Parker, Mason Crawley, Miller Allford, Elle Allford; sister, Charlene King and husband, Raffy.
