Loretta Connie Wooley, 95, of Carbon, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at her home. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 28, 2021 at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel in McAlester with Pastor Jeremy Lalli officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester. She was born on October 15, 1925 in McAlester to Wallace and Delphia (Pearce) Jefferson. She married Robert S. "Bob" Wooley on January 6, 1951 in Van Buren, Arkansas. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, bingo and the casino. She was a member of Richville Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Iris and Chuck Hallbert, Carol Sibole and Donny James; grandchildren, Kim Mason, Annetta Grinnell, Carol Ann Brummett, Charles Hallbert III, Robert Hallbert, Samantha Walker, Sam Wooley, Jason Knight and Bretton Lee James; great-grandchildren, Tyler Mason, Ashley Shannon, Casey Grinnell, Cody Grinnell, Caitlin Stubblefield, Johnny Brummett, Garrett Brummett, Soren Hallbert, Seth Hallbert, Adriana Hallbert, Caitlyn Wilson, Cyprus Hallbert, Cara James, Carsyn James and Coda James; ten great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Thomas Jefferson; one sister, Alice Marie Hayes; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Delphia Jefferson; husband, Bob Wooley; two sons, Roger Stone and Samuel Wooley; daughter, Bonny Lee Wooley; grandchildren, Bobby Shannon and Laura Lee Shannon; brothers, Wallace, Cleno, Ulis, Johnny and Otis Jefferson, and a sister, Ruth Jackson.
