Addie "Bitsy" Jewell Randazzo, 97, of the High Hill Community, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at her daughter’s home. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 15, 2024 at the Chaney Harkins Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at the High Hill Baptist Church. The burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, McAlester, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Cody Randazzo, Zane Randazzo, Mike Randazzo, Phillip J. Randazzo, Larry Taylor, and Stanley Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be David Fields, Willie Tucker, and Bobby Tucker. Addie was born to Vernon Merideth and Nina (Wilson) Merideth on December 16, 1926 in Arch, Oklahoma. She married Phillip Randazzo on August 23, 1947 in Sherman, Texas. Addie was a member of the Kiamichi Quilters Guild, and a member of the High Hill Baptist Church. Addie is survived by her children: Joe Randazzo and wife Merrie, Phillip Randazzo, and Margaret Jones and husband Brett all of McAlester; grandchildren: Jan Kraft and husband Doug, Marva Forbes and husband Phil, Michael Randazzo and wife Crystal, Carla Albert and husband Mike, Micklena Stephens and husband Mike, Phillip “P.J.” Randazzo, Meridith Richardson, Jeanette Richardson, and Nicole Jones; 16 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister-in-law: Helen Taylor of McAlester; along with other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband: Phillip Randazzo in 1997; her parents: Vernon and Nina Merideth; sisters: Thelma Roe, and Danna Lou Tucker; and infant brother: John William Merideth.>
