Randall Arden Proctor, 75, of McAlester, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024, at his home, with his loving family at his side. The family will welcome friends for visitation on Monday, November 4, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 5, at 2:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home, with Pastors Chip Lott and Scott Vandenheuvel officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Justin Jewell, Phillip Jewell, Andrew Jewell, James Robert Jewell, Trevor Mathews, and Brad Haile. Honorary pallbearers are Coy Jewell, Vincent Cobbler, Clayton Smith, John Sietz, Jim Mitrovgenis Bob Malone, Kyle Jewell, Bob Bond, and Jeremy Jewell. Randall Proctor was born on July 19, 1949 in Ada to John L. and Mozelle Proctor. He grew up mainly in McAlester and graduated from McAlester High School with the class of 1967. He then attended Northeastern State College in Tahlequah. In 1974, Randy moved to Alaska to work with his uncle in the grocery business. The business operated 6 grocery stores with Randy as a manager. After 20 years, Randy returned to McAlester. He married Eugenia Aline Jewell on June 2, 2000 and they soon moved back to Alaska. After a few years and Randy’s retirement, they moved back to McAlester (Randy said Alaska was for young people). In his younger years, Randy liked to ride motorcycles and snow mobiles. He also liked to go duck hunting, and was very skilled in creating stained glass and metal sculptures. After his retirement, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends. Randy is survived by his wife, Eugenia Proctor; his children, Jennifer Ducharme and husband Danny, Lindsay Proctor, Billy “BJ” Willson, Colby Willson and wife Elizabeth, Paysann Proctor, and Naleigh Proctor; his mother, Mozelle Proctor; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Franz Kaufhardt, Coy Jewell, Phill Jewell and wife Jean, Mike Jewell and wife Paula, and Billy Jewell and wife Sandy; a nephew, Trevor Matthews. He was preceded in death by his father, John Proctor; a granddaughter, Kennedy Willson; and his sister, Janell Kaufhardt.
