Barbara Earlene (Bobbie) LeFlore Barbara Earlene LeFlore, 85, of McAlester, died Friday, July 3, 2015 at a local nursing center. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 6 at Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jason Dunn officiating. Service arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service. Barbara was born March 4, 1930 in Carson to James Luther & Lillian Elena (Whitfield) Slawson. She married Lynn LeFlore on September 15, 1947 in Eufaula. She worked for Rockwell International until her retirement in the 1980s. Barbara enjoyed traveling, camping, and playing cards with her family and friends. She also made beautiful quilts and enjoyed working on craft projects. She was a member of New Haven Bible Baptist Church in Krebs. Survivors include her children: Bobby L. LeFlore & wife, Jennifer of Oklahoma City, Judy Potter & husband, Jim of McAlester, Dana Mills & husband, Kenneth of Edmond; grandchildren: Kara Thompson of Tulsa, Julie Hayward & husband, Jeremy of Ozark, Rachael LeFlore of Oklahoma City, Elizabeth Barnes & husband, Jake of Weatherford, Melanie Norris Jones & husband, Kevin of Krebs, Thaxal Potter & Katie Bethune of Krebs, Canaan Potter of McAlester, Justin Mills & wife, Jessica of Stillwater, Matt Mills & wife, Jessica of Miami. Also, sisters: Estelle Epps & husband, Alvin of Rosemond, California, Joyce DeFlorin of McAlester, Karleen Webb & husband, Don of McAlester, Tona Hickman of The Woodlands, Texas, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: James & Lillian Slawson, her husband: Lynn LeFlore, a brother: Kenneth Slawson, and an infant sister.
