Robert Earl "Duke" Humphrey, 55, of Tulsa, formerly of McAlester, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026 at his home. Robert was born on April 21, 1971 in McAlester to Harold "Hal" and Frances (Johnson) Humphrey. He was a retired Probation and Parole officer with the State of Oklahoma. He married Shoundra Huffman on July 25, 2015 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He enjoyed dominoes, spades, traveling with his family, fishing, talking mess, and “The Blue.” He was a member of the Boys & Girls Club where he played baseball, basketball, football and soccer. He was an assistant coach for the TYAA Bulldogs. Survivors include his wife, Shoundra D. Humphrey; children, Raiven Nichole Humphrey, Jaden Bryce Humphrey; step-children, Skylar Williams, Cortney Williams, Miracle Sells and Jelah Sells; grandchildren, Aiyden C. Trahan, and Egypt Love Humphrey; step-grandchild, Jamari "The Dream" Borens; sister, Sonya Faye (Humphrey) Nash; and a brother, Eric Gerord Humphrey. He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Delois Humphrey; father, Harold Humphrey; grandmother, Georgia Roberta Johnson; uncles, Donald Roy Johnson, Frankie Johnson, Charles Johnson, Ewell "Steve" Johnson, and James Jimmy Johnson. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 16th at the Boys & Girls Club Al J. Horton Event Center, 1 V Hubert Smith Dr., McAlester. Rev. Bobby Maddox will officiate with Pastor Anthony Nash reading the Eulogy. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester. Active pallbearers will be Tracy Price, Marcus Ellis, Clint Allford, Paul David Anderson, Noland "Dubbie" Jones, Greg Price, Dewayne Redway, and Jermaine Johnson. Honorary pallbearers are Carl Johnson, Bobby Johnson, Gregory Richmond, and the McAlester High School Class of 1989. Flower girls are Skylar Williams, Cortney Williams, Jelah "Phat-Phat" Sells, Miracle Sells, Shakaylyn Brooks, Ryane Huffman, Nevaeh Harp, Mya Nash, and Loren Nash. Honorary flower girls are Carla Johnson, Sandra Penn, Della Pope, Bridgett Mitchell, Virginia Lackey.
