Jack Giaudrone, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2023, in McAlester, Oklahoma, after a courageous battle with cancer. Jack was a man of kindness, love, and friendliness whose life was marked by a deep devotion to his family and a passion for the simple joys of life. The family will greet friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday October 3, 2023 at Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory. A funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday October 4, 2023 at Bishop Chapel of Memories officiated by Rev. Monte Busby. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, McAlester, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be his grandsons: Dominic Giaudrone, Chase Giaudrone, Carson Haney, Keaton Haney and great grandsons: Brason Johnson, Aidan Giaudrone and Bralin Edgerton. Honorary pallbearers will be David Timmons, Jerry London, Dave Cuenod, and the Men of Richville Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Traditions Health and Hospice, 320 N. Main St., Seminole, OK 74868. Jack was born to Domenic and Lorene (Nunley) Giaudrone on April 13, 1934 in Carbon, Oklahoma. He attended and graduated from McAlester High School in 1953. While attending high school Jack began working for Holsum Bakery and continued to work there for over 26 years until its closure. Then he began a 20-year career as a correctional officer for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections at Oklahoma State Penitentiary. Jack was an avid bowler and enjoyed fishing. He was a member of Richville Baptist Church. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Domenic and Lorene Giaudrone; son, Mark Giaudrone; brother, James Giaudrone and a sister, Joann Moore. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Violet Giaudrone of the home; daughter, Kim Haney and husband, Bryan of Austin, Texas; daughter-in-law, Amy Giaudrone of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; grandchildren: Dominic Giaudrone and wife, Lindsey, Chase Giaudrone and wife, Rachel, Carson Haney and wife, Ava, Kendall Haney-Kim and husband, Brian, Lauren Fulkerson and husband, Dylan; Keaton Haney and wife, Lauryn; great grandchildren: Hannah Marie Johnson, Brason Johnson, Aidan Giaudrone, Hailie Giaudrone, Bralin Edgerton, Hannah Faith Giaudrone, Olivia Jane Fulkerson; sister, Pat Robinson; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
