Marchelene (Impson) Breedlove-Davis, 76, of McAlester, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 27th from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester with Mimi Kelley officiating. Burial will follow.
Marchelene was born on March 7, 1948 in Nashoba, Oklahoma to Dickey John and Myrtle Lee (Bohanan) Impson. She was head cook for the child nutrition at McAlester Public Schools. She married James Joseph Breedlove on January 11, 1967 at Wichita Falls, Texas. She had a passion for reading her Bible, gardening and being outside, collecting rocks and rescuing cats.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, James and Connie Breedlove; daughter, Debbie Breedlove; grandson, Patrick Breedlove; special niece, Catherine Wheeler Mueller; nieces and nephews, Diana Woodard, Wendel Wheeler, Robert and Anita Watson, Donna Watson, Curtis and Ann Watson, Richard and Samantha Watson; step-grandchildren, Jennifer Rowan and Ashley Barnard; step great-grandchildren, Kassie, Brennon, AnnaGrace and Justice; step great-great-grandchild, Hazel Rose; special friends, Nancy Ezell and Norma Lee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Joseph Breedlove; parents; siblings, Claudine I. Wheeler, Sophia Linda Impson, Mildred Daisy Walker, Emma Lee Nelson, Elizabeth Ann Impson, Leona Ruth Wilson, infant Melissa Impson, infant George Impson, Dickey John, Jr., Finnis Ewing Impson, David Waren Impson and Preston Wayne Impson.
