Earlene Blevins, 81, of McAlester, died Thursday, February 5, 2015 at a local nursing center. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 9, 2015 at Life Church with Rev. Keith Stanford and Rev. Terren Anderson officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery. Service arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service. Ila Earlene Blevins was born June 18, 1933 in Sanger, Texas, the daughter of Clyde & Donnie (Lynch) Blevins. She married Billy Moore on October 30, 1954, and they were blessed with 3 children: Stephen, Barbara, & Janie. In her childrens younger years, Earlene stayed at home to raise them. Later, she worked as a receptionist in a beauty shop until retiring after numerous years. After the death of her first husband, Earlene married Bobby Blevins on September 1, 1984, and he also preceded her in death. She was a wonderful cook, a seamstress and having a love for words was an avid reader. Survivors include her children: Stephen Wayne Moore & wife, Pam of Farris, Barbara Sue (Moore) Stanford & husband, Rev. Keith Stanford of McAlester; step-daughters: Janie Durham & husband, Terry of Summers, Arkansas, Sharon Duke & husband, Tim of Mesa, Arizona. Also, grandchildren: Shinista Anderson & husband, Rev. Terren Anderson of McAlester, Zackary Stanford & wife, Bre of McAlester, Stephen Coy Moore & wife, Jodie of Farris, Ray Vasconcellos & wife, Celina of Farris, Nicholas Vasconcellos of Casper, Wyoming, Chad Imhoff & wife, Angela of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Josh Imhoff & wife, Sarah of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Trey Durham of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Tisha Polk & husband, Dru of Smithville, Dana McCarty of Oklahoma City, and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents: Clyde & Donnie Blevins, husbands: Billy Moore and Bobby Blevins, and 4 brothers. Honorary pallbearers will be Zackary Stanford, Stephen Coy Moore, Ray Vasconcellos, Nick Vasconcellos, Tory Williams, Lance Williams, Perry Eskue, Chris Eskue, Chad Imhoff, Josh Imhoff, and Trey Durham.
