Donald "Mick" Mack Williams, 76 of McAlester, died Saturday, May 18, 2024 in Oklahoma City. The family will greet friends 6:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. Monday, May 20 at Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Bishop Chapel of Memories officiated by Rev. Paul Snow and Rev. Donnie King. Burial will follow at North Town Cemetery, McAlester. Pallbearers will be Jason Scott, Jack Shropshire, Mason East, Preston East, Gage Williams and Gavin Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be, Kase Martin, Felix Trejo, Jess Hill and Bruce Deerinwater. Donald Mack affectionately known as "Mick" was born to Don and Margaret (McLaughlin) Williams on August 4, 1947 in Coalgate. Mick attended school at Limestone Gap and graduated from Coalgate High School in 1965. He furthered his education by attending East Central University in Ada and Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology in Okmulgee. Mick also served in the Oklahoma National Guard. He married Betty Ann Smith on March 27, 1970 in McAlester. Mick worked in construction as a carpenter and concrete worker. He was a union carpenter in the 1970's and worked as concrete foreman with Phillip Gonzales at Gonzales Cement and Construction Company for numerous years. He then worked with Don Williams doing various concrete construction projects until the age of 75. Mick enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing and especially enjoyed spending time at the family cabin with his grandchildren and family. He enjoyed tinkering with anything mechanical, leather and wood working and would sharpen knives and lawn mower blades for family and friends. Mick was a member of the Blue Holiness Church. Mick was preceded in death by his father, Don Williams; mother, Margaret Pulliam; step-father, W.C. Pulliam; daughter, Beverly Martin; grandson, Zach Lightle; brother, Tommy Williams; sisters, Nancy Pearl Pulliam and Kay Pulliam. He is survived by wife, Betty Williams of the home; son, Dennis Williams and wife, Robbin of Edmond; grandchildren, Leah Trejo and husband, Felix, Kase Martin and wife, Cady; Kady Martin, Jess Hill, Gage Williams, Gavin Williams; great grandchildren, Pablo Medina, Ozzlyn Lightle, Lidia Medina, James Martin; great-great grandchildren, Leo Medina and Melly Pingleton; brothers, John Ray Williams and wife, Marilyn, Donnie Williams and wife, Tawanna, Perry Williams and wife, Linda; sisters, Betsy Pulliam, Stacy Nobles and husband, Jeff, Lisa Johnson; brother-in-law, James Smith; sisters-in-law, Willie Mae Hayes, Donna Robinson; numerous nieces, nephews other family members and friends.
