Meghan Danielle Ransome, 30, of McAlester, died Sunday, September 12, 2021 near Stuart. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday September 28, 2021 at The Kings House officiated by Rev. Darren Schoggins. Inurnment will follow in North Town Cemetery. Honorary pallbearer will be Brittany Ransome. Meghan Danielle was born to Randall Ransome and Jana Carol Whitefield on October 24, 1990 in Oklahoma City. She went to McAlester High School. She worked as a manager at Handy Stop #1 for over 13 years. Meghan was a great mother and took great pride in her son, Gunner, whom she loved to spoil. She was a hard worker, but when she wasn't working, she enjoyed resting and sleeping. She was preceded in death by her father: Randall Ransome; mother: Jan Carol (Whitefield) Free, sons: Tagus Lane and Gunner Wayne, her paternal and maternal grandparents and great-grandparents, and great-uncle: Clifford. Meghan is survived by her sister: Brittany Ransome and husband, Alonzo Martin of Muskogee, and nieces: Ra'Nya Martin and Zha'Vya Martin, both of Muskogee.
