Charles E. Lightle, 68, of McAlester, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at the OSU Medical Center in Tulsa. Viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at the Chaney Harkins Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 11, 2024 at North Town Cemetery. The burial will follow. Charles was born on January 19, 1955 to Lester Lightle and Dorothy (Littrell) Lightle. He married Kathy Smith in 1979. Charles is survived by his son: Jason Lightle and wife, Jessica, and grandson, Levi; his daughter: Mindi Spencer and husband, Isaac, and grandsons: Zachary, Wyatt, and Luke; his daughter: Krista Barker, and grandson: Jet. He also is survived by four brothers: Eddie Lightle, Donnie Lightle and wife, Gina, Artie Lightle and wife, Tina, and Jimmy Lightle; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family. He is preceded in death by his father: Lester Lee Lightle; and his mother; Dorothy (Littrell) Lightle.
