Born on February 6, 1963, in Guilford, Connecticut, Audrey's life was a testament to her passion for education, her unwavering faith, and the deep love she held for her family and friends. Audrey was the daughter of Susan Santora of Hartford, Connecticut, and the late Bryan Carmenati. She grew up in Guilford, where she completed her high school education before attending college. In 1991, Audrey moved from Alaska to McAlester, which became her home. For 18 years, she dedicated herself to nurturing young minds as a teacher at Kiddin’ Around Academy, a role that allowed her to fulfill her lifelong passion for working with children. Audrey's commitment to her community was evident through her active involvement in Cornerstone Church in Arpelar, where she was a devoted member for 20 years. She found joy in teaching Sunday school and cherished the bonds she formed with her church family. Audrey's faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her through every moment with grace and strength. Audrey is survived by her mother, Susan Santora; her loving daughters, Christen Kingsley and Courtney Kingsley; son, Josiah Kingsley; treasured grandchildren, Zaidyn Hendrix, Zilas Cleveland, Gemma Kingsley, Gwen Apple, Benson Kingsley, Elaina Kingsley, and Chloe Myatt; and sisters, Nanci Carmenati and Venisa Riebe. She also leaves behind a host of other family members, colleagues, and friends who were touched by her generous spirit. Audrey's personal interests reflected her appreciation for the simple pleasures in life. She enjoyed her solitude, often spending time at home watching her favorite shows on the Lifetime channel, Dr. Phil, and more recently, The Wheel of Fortune. Audrey was an avid OU Sooner football fan. Described by those who knew her as faith-filled, loving, and passionate, Audrey's legacy is one of unwavering love and the power of faith. She lived by the words of Mother Teresa, "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love." Audrey embodied this sentiment, touching the lives of many with her small acts of kindness and her great love. Audrey's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with the threads of devotion, compassion, and joy. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. As we say goodbye to Audrey Kingsley, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of purpose and brimming with love. She will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire us every day.
