Burke Williams, 82, of Krebs, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024 at his home. Family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester. Services will be 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Brumley-Mills Chapel in McAlester with Rodney Briggs officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park in McAlester. Active pallbearers will be Travis Williams, Mason Williams, Ty Williams, Braden Kerns, Ken Gaines, Dustin Williams, Seth Easley and Scott Easley. Honorary pallbearers will be Delbert Derryberry, Steve Patterson, Paul Maddox, Harold Raper, Larry Thrash, Colton Nale, Charlie Armstrong and Jerry Yandell. Burke was born on January 4, 1942 in McAlester to Perry and Ophelia (Donaldson) Williams. He served in the U.S. Army and married Vicki Duff on December 29, 1976 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He worked in the oilfield and was a rancher. He enjoyed his cattle, family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Vicki Williams; children and spouses, Travis Williams and Glenda Bowman, Darcy and Joel Kerns, Scott and Patricia Easley, Ty and Sarah Williams; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; sisters and a brother-in-law, Patricia and Ken Gaines, Kathy Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Ophelia Williams; sister, Jane Trammell and a grandson, Jaelon Kerns.
