Goldie Doris (Hollinger) Wilkinson, 90, of Alderson, died Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at her residence. The family will greet friends and visitors from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday July 1, 2021 at Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2021 at Bishop Chapel of Memories officiated by Rev. Kerry Kirkhart. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alton Smith, Jr, Sandra Burk, David Cravins, Allan Ellis, Eldon Ellis, and Dean "Budger" Secratt. Honorary pallbearers will be Kathy Bruner, Marvin Sweetin, Kenny Sweetin, Don Roberts, Robert Bruner, and John Bruner. Goldie was born to Louis and Emma (Baron) Hollinger on April 1, 1931 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. In Canada, she worked as a communication specialist. She married Jasper Hailey Wilkinson. She was a homemaker and rancher. Goldie enjoyed building and maintaining her rock and flower garden. Her hobbies included sewing, crossword puzzles, and winning at card games. Goldie especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an avid Bible reader, and loved to study God's Word in depth. She was a member of the Family Worship Center in Krebs. She was preceded in death by her parents: Louis and Emma Hollinger; her husband: Jasper Hailey Wilkinson on May 14, 2006; an infant son: Robert Dale Wilkinson; son: Claytee Ray Wilkinson; and sisters: Gladys Seasons, Shirley Williams, and Lavina Russell. Goldie is survived by her son: Jerry Wilkinson and Ellen Powell of Alderson; stepson: Ronnie Wilkinson and wife, Nena and their family of Lake Havasu, Arizona; grandchildren: Stanley Wilkinson and wife, Hannah of Alderson, Lucas Hailey Wilkinson of Alderson, Jacob Wilkinson of Haileyville, Sara James of Oklahoma City; great-grandchildren: Josiah Wilkinson of Alderson, Haven Wilkinson of Haileyville; brothers: Lloyd Hollinger, Jack Hollinger, Jerry Hollinger, Richard Hollinger; sisters: Lucille Mottershead, Hattie Henderson; sisters-in-law: Phyllis Raleigh of Savanna, Billie Marsh of Sholo, Arizona; several of Goldie's siblings living in Canada and the United States; along with numerous other family members and friends.
