On July 27th, 2024, Donald Eugene Pedigo of Jones Oklahoma, passed away at the age of 82. Don was born in Topeka, Kansas on April 16,1942, to Cecil Pedigo and Mildred Mitchell Pedigo, both whom have preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother Troy Pedigo and his nephew Kristopher Pedigo. His memory will be cherished by his family, his brother Bobby Pedigo and his wife Mary, his brother Charlie Pedigo and his wife Elaine, and his youngest brother Johnny Pedigo, his nephew Kenneth Pedigo and family, his niece Brenda West and her family, his nephew Tim Pedigo and his family, his nephew Teddy Pedigo and family, Joseph Pedigo, Jennifer Pedigo and her family, Jeffry Pedigo, Rachael Pedigo, Janothan Pedigo and his family, his step granddaughter Nita Phillips, and his step grandson Carl Phillips and his family. Don was the leader of the Pedigo family. The whole family went to him for help and for advice. Whether it was help fixing a roof, plumbing, moving furniture, dirt work, electrical wiring, mechanical issues, Don could do it all, or at least tell you how to do it. He had his opinion about everything, and you need only to stick around long enough, and he would tell you everything you could ever want to know. He loved being in nature. Fishing, hunting or just being in the woods. Don loved being outside. He traveled all over the USA with his first wife and expanded his range with his second wife to include cruises and more tropical destinations. He needed to see and experience things for himself. He wanted to do everything for himself. He built his own home, created his own opportunities, he took the bull by the horns. In short, he did it his way. Services will be held at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond Oklahoma on August 5, 2024, at 2 pm followed by viewing on August 6, 2024, at Bishops Funeral Home in McAlester and then graveside service at Memorial Gardens in McAlester Oklahoma at 2 pm.
