Bonnie Lucille Osborne, 85, of McAlester, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 14, in Poteau, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be Monday, Aug.19, at 10:00 a.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tim Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Heavener Police Officers, Chief Ty Armstrong, Sergeant Larry Loomis, Corporal Jason Robertson, Officer Clayton Kannady, Officer Darrin Frost and Officer Jason Savage. Bonnie Osborne was born on March 19, 1934 in Crowder to Clarence Orville and Mary Dorita (Davidson) Kelley. She married James Wingo and they made their home in McAlester until 1954 when they moved to California. They returned to McAlester in 1964. Bonnie worked on the production line at Rockwell a number of years, then worked at the Department of Human Services, until retiring. Her husband, James, passed away in 1993 and she married Thomas Osborne, Jr. in May, 1994. He also preceded her in death. Bonnie loved to bowl and was active in league bowling for years. She also enjoyed gardening, yard work, sewing, fishing, doing word puzzles, and church work. She was currently a member of First Baptist Church of Krebs and had previously attended Northgate Baptist and Cornerstone Baptist. Bonnie is survived by her children, Jimmy Harold and wife Karen Wingo, Debra Gail Glass and husband Gary, Cheryl Marie Cariker, and Gary Wade Wingo; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; a brother, Richard Kelley; 2 sisters, Midge VanHoozer and Jean Eldridge; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to both her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Joshua Kelan Kelley; 2 brothers, Harold and Raymond Kelley; and 3 sisters, Oleta Butler, Evelyn Clayborn and Sue Bradley. The Wingo Family would like to extend a sincere, heart-felt thank you to Mary Adams; thank you for loving our mother, taking such good care of her and never leaving her side.
