Lorrie Ann Harrington died peacefully June 16, 2024, in McAlester at the age of 63. She is survived by her brother, Jay L. Harrington. Lorrie was preceded in death by her parents, James and Luevona White. Interment of her ashes was privately held at Memory Gardens Memorial Park in McAlester. Lorrie's ashes were interred at the foot of her parents' graves. Her marker (bronze on granite) will read Lorrie Ann Harrington, Born July 11, 1960, died June 16, 2024, and say "The Daughter of James and Luevona." Lorrie graduated from McAlester High School in 1978. Upon graduation she attended Oklahoma State University, where she earned a BS in Psychology. Lorrie was a great lover of people and animals. Sundown (The Goat) was one of Lorrie's favorites. She thought it was a pygmy goat and that it would stay that size. Sundown was not a pygmy goat and grew to the size of a Shetland pony, but Lorrie did not care. Lorrie was one of a kind.
