Janice M. (Morrison) Cuzalina, 90, formerly of McAlester died July 11, 2023 in Bartlesville surrounded by her family. The family will greet friends and relatives 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2023 at Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory. A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Memory Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery officiated by Rev. Steve Mayhew. Janice was born to August J. and Velma M. (Hayes) Morrison on November 26, 1932 in Indianola. She graduated from Indianola High School in 1951 and worked as a bank teller for several years. After high school she married Kenneth Benson. In September of 1967 Janice married Frank Cuzalina. They resided in Billings then Blanchard and returned to McAlester in 1987 after Frank's retirement. She was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church of McAlester. When Janice was younger, she was an avid bowler. She loved to sew and was the family pie maker and was known for her delicious pies. She loved to make quilts and give them to her family. Janice was preceded in death by her parents, August and Velma Morrison; husband, Frank Cuzalina; brothers, Benny Morrison, Vernon Morrison; and a step son, William "Billy" Frank Cuzalina. Janice is survived by her daughter, Denise Goff and husband, Mike; Deanna Combrink and husband, Clinton all of Bartlesville; son, Kenny Benson and wife, Lori of Coweta; step sons, Charles Cuzalina, Lyle Hague, Frank J. Hague. grandchildren, Ashley McClintock, Bethany Majors, Courtney Needham, Kendra Tillson, Kyle Benson, Cydnee Armstrong; five great grandchildren, Giana Jones, Jacob Majors, Harper Armstrong, Brinlee Garrett, Haley Tillson; sister, Shirley Vincent and husband, Lenn; cousin, Jo Rae Patrick; a host of family and friends.
