R. W. Hitchcock

Funeral services were held Jan 17 at Hudson-Phillips funeral Chapel for R.W. (Ron) Hitchcock.

Mr. Hitchcock was born Jan 1, 1930 in Bakersfield, Ca. to Buck and Olive Hitchcock and died Jan 8 of natural causes.

He worked for Occidential Petroleum as an engineer for several years, moving to Wetumka 30 years ago. He also rode bulls and was a sharpshooter.

Survivors include three children, Bill Hitchcock, Bakersfield, CA., Leann Hitchock, Portland, OR., and Scott Hitchcock, Pueblo, CO.; several brothers and sisters including Donald Hitchcock of Bakersfield, CA.; and aunt and uncle, Mr. And Mrs. Robert Snow of Stuart.

Interment will be at Lone Grove cemetery near McAlester under the direction of Hudson- Phillips Funeral Home.
