Jerry L. Barlow, Sr., 78, of Crowder, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at his home. Services will be 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel in McAlester with Pastor Fred Morrison officiating. Burial will follow at Lone Grove Cemetery in Scipio, Oklahoma. Active pallbearers will be Jerry Barlow, Wade Barlow, Adam Barlow, Tom Foreman, Tom Suter and Bill Martin. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Barlow and Gary Barlow. Jerry was born on July 15, 1946 in McAlester to Joe and Ida Lee (Medley) Barlow. He graduated from Indianola High School in 1963. He married Ellen Bithell on January 7, 2012 in McAlester. He was an avid reader and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also a Mason. Survivors include his wife, Ellen Barlow of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry Barlow, Jr. and wife Brenda of McAlester, OK, Wade and Mallory Barlow of McAlester, OK, and Adam Barlow of Waynoka, OK; daughter and son-in-law, Autumn and Tom Foreman of Durant, OK; brothers, J.B. Barlow of Scipio, OK and Ronnie and Joyce Barlow of Emery, TX; sister, LaVoyce Ruddell of Bonham, TX; grandchildren, Tyler Hood, Austin and Kadence Hood, Jessica and Bill Martin, Tanner Barlow and Baylee Barlow; great-grandchildren, Conner Barlow, Augustus Martin and Hudson Barlow. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Ida Lee Barlow; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Dot Barlow; brother, Larry Barlow; and grandson, Joseph Lee Barlow.obit detail-ck dates-funeral home-name
