Betty was born on April 23, 1938, in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma to Robert Lee Adams and Della Marie (Anderson) Adams. Betty's early years were spent in the heart of Oklahoma, but she soon found her home in Plano, Texas and later Wylie, Texas where she would go on to raise her family and build a life filled with love and laughter. Her 70-year marriage to Bobby Ramey began on April 12, 1954, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It was the start of a lifelong partnership filled with mutual respect and affection. Together, they navigated the challenges and triumphs of life, always supporting each other and providing a warm and welcoming home for their children and grandchildren. Betty's commitment to her family was paralleled by her professional dedication. She worked in telecommunications at Digital Switch Corporation (DSC) for over four decades, a career that showcased her intelligence and adaptability. Her hard work and reliability made her a respected figure at DSC, and she retired in 1998 with the admiration of her colleagues. Despite her professional accomplishments, Betty never lost sight of the simple joys that life had to offer. She could often be found in the kitchen preparing meals for her family. Betty had a passion for gardening and her flower beds were full of color that brought beauty to her home and neighborhood. Fishing with her family was another of her favorite pastimes. Betty's hands were rarely still, as she found great satisfaction in quilting and crocheting, creating beautiful personalized pieces. Her adventurous spirit was evident in her love for watching bull riding and playing slot machines. She enjoyed antiquing to add to her depression glass collection. In her later years, Betty enjoyed watching Polka on Saturday evenings with her husband Bob, a tradition that brought music and merriment into her home. Above all, Betty was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her unconditional love and guidance were the cornerstones of her family, and her legacy of kindness and compassion will live on through them. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee Adams and Della Marie (Anderson) Adams; her daughter in 2007, Connie Annette Davis; her siblings, Dorothy Hall, Charles Ray Adams, Robert Adams, Ella Ree Hall, Annie Lois Hall, Patsy Sweetin, Paul Adams, and Don Adams.
