Lisa Renee (Gross) LeFlore, 61 of Savanna died Saturday, November 2, 2024 in Savanna. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at the Bob and Mae Weaver Memorial Chapel at Kiowa Cemetery officiated by Mrs. Rebecca McCaslin. Burial will follow. Honorary pallbearers will be, Andrew Delapenha, Joseph Shadd, Malachi Delapenha, Silas Delapenha, Patrick Tapscott, Wayne Wiley and Ernie. Lisa Renee was born to John and Tommie Louquetta (Birdwell) Gross on September 18, 1963 in Omaha, Nebraska. She attended school in Savanna and McAlester and Vocation education in Choctaw. Lisa worked as a Black Jack dealer for Bally’s and Borgata Casinos in Atlantic City, New Jersey. She then went on to work as a ranch hand for Reedis Buckner in Pittsburg County. Lisa enjoyed life, and loved to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was committed to her family, serving as caregiver for her mother, Louquetta until her death; and most recently, for her sister, Sabrina. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Tommie Louquetta Gross; paternal grandparents, Oliver “Lee” and Katherine Gross; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Pearl Birdwell; an infant son, Jakie LeFlore; brother, John Clifford Gross; aunts, Leatrice Joy "Ninky" Birdwell; Iris Aline Reeder; cousins, Gary Reeder and Karen Reeder. Lisa is survived by her daughters, Nita Shadd of Dry Prong, Louisianna, Jacque Delapenha and husband, Drew of Johns Creek, Georgia; grandchildren, Nikki Shadd, Joseph Shadd, Jr., Jasmine Shadd, Malachi Delapenha, Silas Delapenha, Ariya Delapenha, Camille Delapenha, Kyla Delapenha; sister, Sabrina Harris of Moore; brother, Chris Gross of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; cousins, Tommy Reeder and wife, Linda, Penny Reeder all of Savanna; James Reeder of Yukon; other family members and friends. Lisa will be missed but not forgotten.
